Conditional protocol steps
Protocols functionality has been enhanced to include conditional steps. For any step of the protocol, users can configure a condition and attach steps to it. The steps inside the condition will not be visible to users until the condition is satisfied.
Table data view
For desktops, laptops and tablets, there is a new way to look at the data for Individual and Static objects. If desired, users can elect to view data in a table format. Users can configure any number of views for Individuals or Static objects. When configuring a view users can select and hide columns, perform multi-column sort, filter data, re-arrange and freeze columns, as well as change column width. Familiar ‘Advanced Search” screen can be used to restrict amount of data that are retrieved. The filtered and sorted dataset can be downloaded into a Microsoft Excel file. Users can edit data directly in the view or navigate to objects.
Audit report
With the new “Audit Report” tile, authorised users may run a report to audit all the changes made to the objects in the system during a specified period. Users can select object type to audit and the date range. They can pick specific properties, result types, relationship, or tag types to be audited. It is possible to include or exclude object creation and deletion events and changes to sites.
Data Approvals
It is possible to configure a user that must have all their data entry approved by another user from the specified user group. The data entered by such user will not be posted directly and will not be available to anyone to see or extract until data approved. When approvals are required, user will be notified that their changes have been sent for approval on every save. User will still be able to delete entered data using the new “Approvals” tab of an object view, or new “My Approvals” application. If user created an object, the object will be available for them to work with and modify but will not be visible by everyone else.
Protocol Copy Function
It is now easy to create a copy of the existing protocol with introduction of “Copy” button. When clicked, the new name for the copy of the protocol will be requested, and new protocol will be created.
Accuracy information is added to GPS type fields
Where available the accuracy information provided by the GPS sensors is shown and/or stored with the GPS data. When data is manually entered or updated later, the accuracy is reset to zero.
Automatically create date result or update date property on relationship creation
It is possible now to configure a date type property or result type to be automatically updated/created when a specific relationship is entered. Properties and result type maintenance screen has a new section “Updated from Relationships” when date type property is used. When relationship type is added, the date type property or result type will be automatically updated/created with the latest relationship date. Multiple relationships can update the same property or result type on the latest date preferred basis.
Object Sub Types
Object sub types can now be configured and used to restrict object ids suggested for as a protocol or relationship target candidate.
