“Near me” Search for Static Objects:

Users are able to search for static objects around them. To use this feature mobile device must be equipped with GPS positioning sensor, and static objects must be recorded with GPS coordinates. When activated, the app will search for static objects in the given range. The range is adjustable from 10m to 2km. If any static object is detected in the given range, the device will display it in the list with distance to it in meters and bearing in degrees. If application is able to determine current device heading, the bearing will be displayed relative to the current heading, otherwise, bearing will be displayed relative to the North, in which case the bearing will be displayed with the suffix (N). If access to the internet is available, the results can also be viewed on the map.

Download Active Objects Only

If differentiation between active and inactive static object is configured, only active objects will be downloaded to and available on the mobile device.
